Far from being a professional photographer, I am just really passionate about photography, constantly trying to improve my photographic technique and sensibility. Photography is probably a natural intersection between many other passions I have, such as traveling, exploring new places, slowing down, observing and spending time in silence in the darkroom.

My entire work is done using film (35mm and 120 formats), chemistry and wet-printing (if you want to learn more visit the darkside). With film photography it was love at first sight: the tangibility of the negative, the art of enlarging and the manual skills involved. A negative and the print on gelatine silver paper are truly unique, like the reproduced moment. Completely different from an anonymous and monotone sequence of zeros and ones stored in a chip made in China that can be copied indefinitely.
