Street of Manchester

Manchester and particularly the Northern Quarter is a vivid place for street artists. In this quarter many old buildings have been enriched by enormous murals made by famous street artists in the attempt to preserve them. What caught my attention, however, are not these huge murals (very beautiful indeed), but some secondary roads in the Northern Quarter.

Some are literally open air art gallery where ”artists” constantly express themselves with numerous operas. Drawings, posters, stencils and paints overlap and interact with each other. All pieces of art are provisional what makes this communication very interesting.
